The Westminister Hotel – The Most Beautiful Hotel Location In London

I recently had the opportunity to stay in what I would say would be one of the most beautiful hotels in London, The Westminister Hotel. This hotel is located in one of the top areas in the city and has some of the most incredible landmarks within walking distance! Below I will delve into all of the need to knows on what the rooms are like, the amenities the hotel offers as well as the nearby landmarks.

The West Minister London, Curio Collection…

The Westminister London is located in the heart of London, Westminister. The hotel is apart of the curio collection by Hilton which have some incredible hotels located throughout Europe. Located just a minute from the River Thames and beside both MI5 and MI6.

The hotel has all of the iconic London landmarks right on its doorstep including Big Ben, The London Eye, The House Of Parliament and Westminister Abbey. The hotel offers 464 rooms and suites as well as a range of amenities.

From the Location to amenities this is one of my favourite hotels in London!! I have visited this hotel on more than one occasion and each time I come back it does not disappoint. The staff here are extremely friendly and want to ensure you have the best stay while with them.

    London City Location…

Nestled amongst some the most iconic and historic parts of London. From Big Ben to Buckingham Palace Westminister is full of the UK’s most historic buildings. The hotels itself is located around less then a 10 minute walk from the closest tube station, Pimlico and Westminister underground. There are plenty of buss stops around the hotel as well as being less then 10 minutes walk from Big Ben, Westminister Abbey and Tate Britan.

    Hotel Amenities…

Dinning: The hotel offers all you can eat breakfast each morning from 7am to 10am which includes everything from cereal, croissants, fruit and a full english breakfast. For all the dinner lovers out there then you are in look, at night the hotel breakfast room transforms into STK an incredible restaurant which offers a wide range of food options. I had their chicken fillet which was INCREDIBLE and don’t get me started on their chocolate fudge cake because it was so good!! By far one of the best hotel restaurants I have tried.

Bowling: You wont find this in every hotel but The Westminister has their very own private bowling alley!! You can book the bowling alley for up to 20 people for a night of friendly competition while enjoying some drinks from the private bar. The Bowling alley is located towards the back of the hotel right behind the restaurant so you can enjoy a bite to eat before heading down for some fun in the bowling alley.

Cafe: If you are looking to grab some food or drinks outside of the breakfast or dinner hours then you are in luck as the hotel also provides a lovely little cafe cafe downstairs by the entrance. Here you can grab yourself some tea, coffee and a light snack and sit back and relax.

    The rooms…

The Westminister London offers over 400 spacious rooms and suites. We stayed in one of their ‘Queen Corner Rooms’ and the first thing I should mention is just how incredible the view was!! I could see all the way over to the Battersea Powerstation and even a small glimpse of Big Ben.

The rooms are really nice and spacious and offers everything you need including a wardrobe, luxury rain shower, tv, wifi, Nespresso machine and a safe to keep your belongings safe.

The bed was extremely comfortable and big. My boyfriend is pretty tall and he still felt very comfortable as the beds are huge!!

    Nearby London Attractions…

Again the location of the hotel is incredible and from exploring the area below are some of my favourite attractions that are close by.

    • Big Ben– London’s most iconic landmark located in the house of parliament. Big ben weighs more than 13 tones and is over 96 meters long. The clocktower looks incredible at night so I would definitely recommend stoping by to see it illuminated.
    • Westminister Abbey– Founded in 640 Ad Westminister Abbey has been the location of coronations for over 40 British monarchs and is the burial site to many great British figures including Charles Dickens, Issac Newton and Edward V.
    • River Thames– The Thames is over 184 miles long making it one of the longest river walks in Europe. The river is home to over 25 species of fish and offers many activites including river cruises and boat hires.
