    Accommodation in Tenerife…

    Hotel Laguna Nivaria

We first stayed in the beautiful Hotel Laguna Nivaria, located in the north of the island in the historic city of Santa Cruz. Hotel Laguna Nivaria is a 16th century mansion turned 4 star hotel which offers some amazing amenities including a spa, outdoor swimming pool and fitness center. The rooms are absolutely beautiful with a bright and airy decor which reminisces of its past. They are extremely spacious providing you with a mini kitchen, en suite, flat screen TV and the comfiest bed I have ever slept it! The hotel provides a delicious breakfast buffet as well as dinner and drinks in their onsite restaurant and bar

Our final hotel was the GF Victoria is a 5 star hotel located in Adeje in the south of Tenerife. This hotel is located only 400 meters from the beach and offers some extremely incredible facilities including a bio spa, several swimming pools both indoor and outdoor, Tennis courts, a waterpark and so much more!

This hotel was stunning and the rooms here were absolutely incredible! They are extremely spacious with your own private balcony, two bathrooms, a living room and a mini kitchen! The staff are also very helpful and kind and on arrival you will be given a complimentary cocktail during check in. The hotel offers a buffet breakfast and when I say a buffet i mean a huge room full to the brim of delicious food it was absolutely incredible.

    Best Activities in Tenerife…

There are so many incredible activities in Tenerife, from water-sports, hiking and leisure it can be hard to choose where to begin. To help make it easier for you below I have outlined some of my favourite activities on the island to help slim down your choice.

    Kayaking- Teno Activo

If you are looking for an unforgettable experience then look no further. Teno Activo offer an extremely unique opportunity to kayak along the beautiful los gigantes cliffs in southern Tenerife. These cliffs rise to the heights of over 500 meters and have some incredible wild life. During this 2 hour kayaking experience you will be guided along the incredible cliffs where you can stop to take photos, swim and enjoy something to drink.

This is experience is suitable for all levels as the kayak is a two seater so it is very easy to handle alone or with a friend. The water here is also very calm and safe so it is the perfect place to take in the scenery.

Whale and Dolphin watching- Big Smiles Charter

This was by far one of my favourite activities on this whole trip! We took an incredible trip with Big Smiles charter to discover some of the incredible whales, dolphins and other sea life which lives off the coast of Tenerife.

Departing from Puerto Colon, this 3hr charter will will bring you along Costa Adeje where you can admire the beautiful views and sea life while enjoying the most delicious lunch and snacks all prepared by the lovely crew. This was such an enchanting experience and we saw so many wildlife!

Wine Tasting – Bodega El Lomo

Step into the world of Cannarian wine with Bodega El Lomo. Here you will be taken on a guided tour through the 5 stages of Cannarian wine. You will be taken on an immersive experience through their vineyards to learn about their rich history which dates back to 1989. Throughout this experience you will be putting each of your senses to the test to explore the art of wine tasting and what it takes to ensure the wine is ready for serving. taste a variety of their most popular wines.

This was an incredible experience! Borga and his team takes you through such a beautiful and unique journey filled with delicious foods and of course incredible wine.

    Teide National Park

One of the most beautiful national parks in the world, Teide National Park is the biggest park on the Canary Islands and holds the largest mountain in all of Spain. This UNESCO world heritage site has the worlds most incredible landscapes in which the volcanoes, lava flows and different materials form a beautiful range of shapes and colours. Mount Teide dominates this landscape, standing at 3,718 m above sea level.

There are many activities within Teide National Park with the most popular being stargazing, hiking and quad bike tours. We went on a sunset tour around the Teide National Park where you can drive around the park looking at all of the beautiful viewpoints and end it at one of the best sunset viewpoints beside Mount Teide. Now unfortunately when we went it was extremely foggy at the end viewpoint so we changed up the plans and ended up driving around more of the park to check out some of the other beautiful viewpoints. This was still a breathtaking experience and wherever you are in the park you will still some gorgrous surrounding views.

When it comes to local food, the Canarian cuisine is a must try when you are in Tenerife! Traditional Tennerife cuisine focuses mainly on seafood as well as local meat. One of the main resoans the food in the Canary islands are so diffrent from the rest of Spain is because of its locations. The climate in Tenerife is extremely unique with many unique micro climates. Tenerife cuisine is mainly influenced by Venezuelan cuisine. Below i have outlined a few of the restaurants i would recommend if you are looking to try out the local cusine.
